Terms & Rules — Rabbit

The short version

Be kind. Be honest. Don't be a problem. Rabbit is a safe space for neurodivergent people to hang out — help us keep it that way.

1. Who We Are

Rabbit (rabbit.brushworq.com) is a community forum operated by Brushworq. It exists as a casual, low-pressure hangout space for neurodivergent people and those who support them.

By creating an account and using Rabbit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who Can Join

Rabbit is currently invite only. Access is granted at the discretion of Brushworq. You must be 16 years of age or older to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

This age restriction is in line with current UK legislative direction regarding social platforms, and reflects our commitment to keeping Rabbit a safe and appropriate space for our community.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Do not share your account with anyone else.

3. Community Rules

These rules apply to all posts, threads, profiles and interactions on Rabbit.

🤝 Be respectful

Rabbit is built for people who often feel misunderstood elsewhere. Treat every member with the same patience and kindness you'd want for yourself. Hate speech, discrimination, or targeted harassment of any kind — based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, nationality or any other characteristic — will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

💛 No self-harm content

Do not post content that encourages, glorifies or provides instruction for self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behaviours. If you're struggling, you're welcome to talk — but framing must always be supportive, not harmful. Posts that cross this line will be removed without notice.

🚫 No spam or advertising

Rabbit is not a marketplace or an advertising platform. Do not post promotional content, affiliate links, unsolicited product recommendations, or repeated off-topic messages. This includes self-promotion of social media, YouTube channels, websites or services — unless you've been given explicit permission by an admin.

🔒 Respect privacy

Do not share another person's private information without their consent — this includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, photos, or any other identifying details. This applies to both members and non-members. Doxxing will result in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to relevant authorities.

⚖️ Nothing illegal

Do not post content that is illegal under UK law or the laws of your own country. This includes but is not limited to: content that infringes copyright, content that facilitates fraud or criminal activity, and any content involving the exploitation of minors. Any such content will be removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.

🔗 Links are restricted

To keep Rabbit safe, external links in posts are not permitted without prior approval from an admin. If you'd like to share a link, please contact an admin first. This helps protect the community from spam, malware and unwanted content. Links shared without approval may be removed.

4. Your Content

You own the content you post on Rabbit. By posting, you grant Brushworq a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform. We will never sell your content to third parties.

You are responsible for everything you post. Don't post anything you wouldn't be comfortable with Brushworq and other members reading.

5. Moderation

Brushworq reserves the right to remove any content, lock any thread, or suspend or ban any account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these rules or for behaviour that is deemed harmful to the community.

Moderation decisions are made in good faith. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may contact us to discuss it — but we reserve the final say.

Attempting to circumvent a ban by creating a new account will result in all associated accounts being permanently banned.

6. Privacy & Data

When you register, we collect your username, email address and password (stored securely and never in plain text). We also log your last activity time.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law. Your email address is used only for account verification, password resets and essential service communications.

You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting an admin. Upon deletion, your account will be removed and your posts anonymised.

Rabbit uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising.

7. Disclaimer

Rabbit is provided as-is. Brushworq makes no guarantees about uptime, data retention or the accuracy of content posted by members. We are not responsible for the views expressed by members of the community.

Nothing posted on Rabbit constitutes professional medical, legal or financial advice. If you need professional support, please seek it from a qualified professional.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of Rabbit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If changes are significant, we will make a pinned announcement in the forum.
